NO PLASTIC PARTS / RUST-FREE FACE PLATE: No plastic parts used in our vent covers (research suggest all plastics may leach chemicals on being subject to heating or scratched).The face plate is rust-free and long-lasting. It is powder coated in Fine Grain Matte Finish which is easy to clean with a soft brush and maybe re-painted with metal spray paint as per the color of your choice

LOUVERS / DAMPERS: The grills are supplied with removable & adjustable metal louvers having horizontal parallel slats/fins/blades which can be opened or closed manually with the help of a lever provided on one side of the vent to control the airflow from the air duct.
The louvers/ dampers are attached to the face vent by machine screws making it easy to remove or re-attach when required.
DESIGN COVERAGE / EMPTY AREA RATIO: The Achtek vent is designed, making the optimum use of coverage across the grate for durability, delivering an adequate flow of heated or cooled air from the air duct along with minimizing the incidence of chair legs and shoe heels going into the open space of the design.
The Achtek design is an octagonal design representing the number eight which is symbolic of Renewal and Regeneration and as per Feng Shui is considered a symbol of protection & to ward off negativity. It is also seen as a symbol of good health and fortune.
RECYCLABLE AND SUSTAINABLE MATERIAL: This aesthetically designed air duct cover is manufactured of recyclable and sustainable Aluminum material which is one of the most cost-effective materials as it can be recycled and reused infinitely.
INSTALLATION :
Indoor: Floor/Wall/Ceiling
For Floor: Select Registers without holes
For Wall/Ceiling installation: Select Registers with countersunk holes (provided with matching mounting screws)
• Standard Tracked - We use UPS / Fed Ex and Purolator for most of our deliveries. The packages are usually delivered within 1 to 7 days depending on the location
• We try our best to dispatch all orders within 1 - 2 working days but during busy period this may increase to 3 to 5 working days depending on volumes and staff issues. Please note this only applies to stock items, other items may take longer
• Orders placed on a Friday, over the weekend and Holidays will be processed the next working day. We do not dispatch the same day so please allow 1 - 2 days for your order to be dispatched. If you require your order urgently please call us on +647-877-2322 before placing your order
• Our courier partners do not deliver to PO box numbers. Alternatively we may use Canada Post / USPS for PO box addresses, but in that case delivery time might be longer. Always try and provide a full postal address
• Providing your phone number while placing your order is always helpful as the courier company may contact you in case of any issue
• NOTE: We will contact you if, for any reason, we are unable to fulfil your online order from our warehouse

CUSTOMS CHARGES-
All parcels if applicable for a custom charge are to be paid by the customer.
Import duties and handling fees are not our responsibility. If you refuse to accept delivery and we have to organise the order to be returned to us, you will have to pay the courier and any duty costs out of any refund we make to you. Registers and Hardware Hub Inc. cannot be held responsible for any charges that customs enforce on a parcel.
In case the address changes after dispatch of order, the extra cost taken by the courier will have to be borne by the customer
In case the parcel is returned to us due to a wrongly provided postal address, the return charges will be deducted from your account.

RETURNS
If your item is unwanted or the wrong size and has not been used or installed in any way,
you may contact us to get a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER within 15 days of receiving
the order. A restocking fee of 20% will apply and there will be no credit for shipping charges
and return shipping charges. There is no exchange or return on custom orders and on
special finishes.
Please include a copy of your original invoice and the RMA number along with a note stating
the reason for your return.
All returns will be credited only once products are inspected and found to be in their original
packaging. Products returned in acceptable condition will be credited at the net value on
the invoice, minus restocking fees and shipping charges.
CUSTOM SIZE AND SPECIAL FINISH ORDER ARE NON-REFUNDABLE OR RETURNABLE.
ORDER ISSUES
Any order issues including damaged, duct size or finish need to be reported within 3 weeks
from arrival in order for us to replace. Please check all items on arrival to ensure everything
is undamaged and to correct size.
PACKING YOUR RETURN
Please ensure goods are packaged properly as damaged items will not be refunded in full. As
most of our items are powder coated they are susceptible to being chipped if not handled
properly or packaged thoroughly.
SENDING YOUR RETURN
We do not pay for returns unless the item is damaged or incorrect. In case damaged or
incorrect size is received, it will be replaced and not refunded.
For any query regarding incorrect or damaged item please contact
us via info@registersandhardware.com. If you can attach some photos showing the
incorrect duct opening size or damage part this would be appreciated. We will then send
you a return label.
If you wish to return your item for another reason, e.g. 'the item is not suitable or ordered a
wrong duct size' then please arrange return shipping yourself.
INTERNATIONAL RETURNS
If returning from outside Canada, please contact us first. It is advisable to return them via
USPS and mark “RETURN” on the box label to avoid high brokerage fee. Any Duties or Tax
charges incurred will be charged against the refund amount.
